Charge Studio
Activate. Recover. Relieve.
Sore quads, tight shoulders, heavy legs, EMS Muscle Massage and Percussion help flush tension and speed the return to baseline.
Charge Studio is our most comprehensive recovery space, seven distinct modalities ranging from electrical muscle stimulation (Compex EMS Muscle Activation and Russian Muscle Stimulation) to micro-current therapy, percussion massage in the Theragun tradition, targeted nerve pain modulation, and a focused neck-and-shoulder massage. Each tool sits on a well-established clinical foundation and is delivered in a calm, private setting designed for focused work on a single muscle group or a full-body wind-down.
Whether you're a serious athlete chasing faster turnaround between training blocks or simply looking for everyday muscle relief after a long day, Charge gives you a way to activate tissue before effort, settle it after, and quiet the nerves that are still complaining. It's the studio members reach for when the rest of the body has done its work and one specific region needs more attention.
Sore quads, tight shoulders, heavy legs, EMS Muscle Massage and Percussion help flush tension and speed the return to baseline.
Nerve Pain Blocking and Micro-Current Therapy are designed to quiet persistent aches without medication.
Compex EMS and Russian Muscle Stimulation wake up underactive fibers, useful pre-training or while rebuilding strength.
Percussion and EMS together loosen restricted tissue so range of motion returns without forcing it.
- Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS). Decades of sports-medicine and rehabilitation research show that controlled electrical pulses can recruit muscle fibers, support strength work, and assist post-exercise recovery, used routinely in physical therapy clinics.
- TENS for pain modulation. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive technique with a long evidence base in clinical pain management, used for everything from low back pain to nerve discomfort.
- Percussion therapy. Recent randomized trials (2025) show extended percussion massage sessions reduce delayed-onset muscle soreness, improve range of motion, and accelerate recovery of muscle tone and stiffness after training.
- Microcurrent therapy. Low-level microcurrent stimulation is used in clinical and aesthetic settings for tissue support; research continues to grow around its role in soft-tissue recovery and pain.
Begin with a single modality at a time so you learn how your body responds to electrical stimulation and percussion.
For active members and athletes, layered with your other Recover studios on training days.
During an acute flare-up, Micro-Current and Nerve Pain Blocking tolerate more frequent use under guidance.
Typical flow: Choose one or two services per visit, for example, Compex EMS on the target muscle (15–20 min) followed by Percussion Massage Gun to finish (5–10 min). The sweet spot is consistency, not intensity.
Approach with care if you have:
None of these are off-limits, our team will walk you through a personalized routine during your consultation. If anything below sounds like you, mention it on your visit.
- ·A pacemaker or implanted electrical device
- ·Pregnancy, unless cleared by your provider
- ·History of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- ·Recent surgery sites or active healing wounds
- ·Broken skin, rashes, or active skin infection
- ·Uncontrolled seizure disorder
